Where do I start?
1) Fill your kitchen (ingredients and equipment). 2) Browse matched recipes. 3) Plan your meals for the week. 4) Add missing items to your shopping list. 5) After cooking, confirm with « I made it » to update your stock.
Who is CooksyUp for?
For people who cook regularly and want less mental load around stock and shopping.
How are recipes suggested?
Suggestions are based on your available ingredients and the equipment you use.
Can I add my own recipes?
Yes. You can create custom recipes with ingredients, steps, and required tools.
What happens after I cook?
You confirm what you used, then your stock updates automatically.
Why is meal planning central in CooksyUp?
Because every planned recipe automatically triggers missing-ingredient calculation and prepares the matching shopping list.
Does CooksyUp work offline?
Local viewing and editing remain available offline. Sync and shared kitchen features require an internet connection.
Do I need an account to use CooksyUp?
No for local use on your device. Yes to invite or join a shared kitchen.
How do I create an account?
From the app, with email and password or Sign in with Apple. Email/password accounts require email verification.
Where is my data stored?
On your device by default. With an account and sync or sharing enabled, some data is also hosted on Firebase (cloud).
What is shared kitchen?
A synced group between multiple people (host and guests) to share ingredients, shopping lists, recipes, and meal planning.
Who can see my shared recipes?
Only members of your shared kitchen group. CooksyUp does not offer a public profile.
What emails does CooksyUp send?
Transactional emails from no-reply@cooksyup.com (email verification, password reset where applicable). No marketing spam.
How do I delete my account?
My Profile → Account Management → Delete account. This is permanent and removes your sharing access and associated cloud data.
