2. Data stored on your device

CooksyUp does not collect sensitive personal data.

Data related to your usage is primarily stored on your device, including:

• ingredients, everyday items, and quantities;
• recipes (including your own recipes) and cooking history;
• shopping list;
• selected kitchen equipment;
• app preferences.

When you cook, CooksyUp may automatically adjust your ingredient quantities to reflect what you actually used.

CooksyUp may also suggest meal ideas based on your available ingredients and the equipment you have.

A future update may optionally offer iCloud sync (for example, to back up and restore your data across devices).

3. Photo access

CooksyUp may request access to your photo library and/or camera only to:

• add an image to a recipe or an item;
• share a recipe (if you choose to share it).

No photos are analyzed or used for any other purpose.

4. Third-party services (Firebase, etc.)

CooksyUp may use third-party services (such as Firebase) to:

• generate aggregated and/or anonymized usage statistics;
• collect diagnostics and crash information;
• improve the performance and stability of the app.

These services may collect technical information (device model, iOS version, app version, technical identifiers, navigation events), but not your recipe content, nor the details of your ingredients or shopping list.

This data is not used to serve targeted advertising within CooksyUp.

We will do our best to respond to reasonable requests for information, correction, or deletion of data, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Security

CooksyUp applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to reduce the risks of unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of your data.

As no system is completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to protect your information.

7. Changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes to the app or the legal framework.

The date at the top of this document indicates the latest version in effect. By continuing to use the app after an update, you accept the revised policy.
